To create as one speaks,
to speak the poem into life,
and of that poem make a prism
for use as eyeglass lenses.
The void becomes a rainbow, then.
Select a painted photon for a brush.
Draw with it the puzzle pieces
across the page the Void provides.
That page did not come blank;
the puzzle outlines cut across words,
first 1 to 2, then 2 to 3,
and from the 3rd will come 10 more.
We've made a scrambled combination block.
Its solution does not exist, yet
we speak that poem into life
with words we make inside our minds.
It's from those words we make the worlds
wherein at last it all makes sense,
the sense we make it make.
Within our worlds we move the hills,
remove the scenes,
rewrite the lines and force
the screaming Void to sing
our songs and by so singing learn
to scream coherent words
and from those words regrow its world
to match the one we masked it with.
